Mister Sick Rantorum is back at his usual game again. Refuses to drop the islamo-facism term.
<a href="http://thinkprogress.org/2008/05/08/santorum-bristles-over-bush-administration-guidelines-against-using-the-term-islamo-fascism/" rel="nofollow">
Santorum bristles over Bush administration guidelines against using the term ‘Islamo-fascism'</a>

my favorite comment in response to Santorum:
Living proof you can’t die of stupidity.

Well, if it's going on at UVa this semester, all Muslims should attend and be active listeners and participate! But, please in a polite and proper manner.

Also, for all the International Muslim women at UVa, you should go and ask a question, "Hmm.. I am a Muslim woman, but yet I am away across the world from my family and studying [insert here], how am I oppressed?".

I don't like it when people generalized that all Muslims from different part of the world are the same. In Malaysia, Malay Muslim women are more independent and more educated compared to other so-called Islamic countries. Even in colleges in Malaysia, there are more women than men. It's not a recent phenomenon that Malay women are independent, even during my grandmother's time, she worked in the rubber estate during the day and taught Qur'an at night. She was the only Qur'an teacher in the village! :)

Men, let us choose what we want to do with our lives. We are human too. Do not accused us of being oppressed if we choose to honor ourselves by covering our body, and if we choose to stay at home to enjoy our family. Do not accused us as misguided hardheaded women if we choose to pursue our career. Let us choose what we want to do. God gives us brain and soul to think and to live.
